WAQAS KHAN

Born 1982 in Akhtarabad, Pakistan.
Lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan.
 
Though trained in printmaking at the National College of Arts in Lahore, Khan went on to cultivate his own minimalist ink style: precisely placing thousands of small dots and lines on paper to create large, abstracted webs and celestial bodies. Often made imperfect with deliberate denseness or impurities, his webbed structures come together an an organic whole.
