DNA | Meet woman, brain behind Mukesh Ambani's bahu Radhika Merchant's viral pink lehenga

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12 in a grand celebration at Jio World Center in Mumbai. Radhika merchant's outfit for her 'Shubh Aashirwad' was created by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla in collaboration with contemporary Indian artist and sculptor Jayasri Burman.

In a post on Instagram, celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor shared stunning images of Radhika from today’s event along with details of her rani pink lehenga featuring real gold zardozi hand embroidery. The blouse was embroidered entirely in resham work.

The 12 hand-painted panels on unique Italian canvas are part of the hand-painted lehenga, created by Jayasri Burman. With its rich and significant imagery, this outstanding artwork embodies the union of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant and is a testament to Jayasri's quintessential legendary aesthetic.

Artworks by Jayasri are renowned for their mythological quality. The lehenga's panels feature human forms that stand for the couple's affection. The imagery aims to tell a more complex story in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. Anant's love of animals is reflected in the fauna, particularly the elephants, which stand for beauty and auspiciousness. This gives the garment an additional level of personal importance.
